Who I Am
I'm Cameron McVeigh, an MEng Mechanical Engineering student with a passion for robotics and innovative engineering solutions. Throughout my studies, I've developed a strong foundation in mechanical design, analysis, and hands-on problem-solving.
More recently my placement at Labman Automation has given me a deeper understanding of electronic systems and the interdisciplinary field of electromechanical devices, where I aspire to build my career.
My Engineering journey has allowed me to work on diverse projects ranging from CAD design and finite element analysis to robotics control systems and manufacturing processes. I'm particularly interested in the intersection of mechanical engineering and automation, where precision design meets intelligent systems.
Education
MEng Mechanical Engineering with placement Year
[University of Nottinging]
[Expected graduation - 2027]
Relevant coursework includes robotics, control systems, thermodynamics, manufacturing processes, and advanced CAD/CAM techniques.
What Drives Me
I'm driven by the challenge of turning complex engineering problems into elegant, practical solutions. Whether it's optimizing a thermal system, designing a robotic mechanism, or developing manufacturing fixtures, I approach each project with curiosity and determination.
Outside of engineering, I'm always looking to expand my knowledge through hands-on projects, industry collaboration opportunities, and staying current with emerging technologies in robotics and automation.
